OLYMPIC PIN SHOWS:
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PIN CLUB
CLUB INFORMATION:
The Southern California Pin Club has met since the 1984 Los
Angeles Summer Olympic Games for the purpose of keeping pin
collecting alive in the Los Angeles area.
Club members usually schedule their bimonthly meetings at
Brookside Park just south of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena,
California. If the tables at the south end of the park are taken
by another group, the club meets behind the swimming pool complex
just east of the parking lot.
There are approximately 20 to 60 collectors who attend the
gatherings. The schedule may change due to UCLA football or
soccer matches held at the Rose Bowl. These events limit parking,
and make it difficult for club members to meet at this location.

LAKE PLACID, NEW YORK
Club dues are $15, U.S. currency. The Club averages 750 members
each year and sends out a quarterly newsletter, a club pin, and a
membership book listing members and their interest in collecting
Olympic memorabilia. Each member is allowed to submit one free
typed advertisement (8" x 1" in size) each year.

Restaurant in downtown Atlanta, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
